Combi Single Stroller Review

The stroller is affordable and features a classic umbrella folding system and a sleek aluminum framework. It also features an adult cup holder, large basket and canopy pocket to hold everything you need.

Features

Combi strollers are designed to make the care of children more enjoyable and less stressful. They are light, easy to use, and attractive. These strollers also come with a variety of safety features, including 3-point and 5 point harnesses, reversible handlebars, large canopy, and adjustable suspension. Some models have a cupholder for the parent and a large storage basket.

The Cosmo is Combi's flagship model and can accommodate a child car seat. It did not fare well in the stroller and car seat compatibility tests however. The other models of the company, the Flare, and the Shuttle have received better reviews online.

Its ability to fold is one of its most impressive features. It folds in just three steps, and it doesn't need you to bend over. It is also easy to maneuver and can be used in different environments. It comes with a huge umbrella that guards your child against harsh conditions such as wind and sun.

It's also very durable, as it has strong steel frames. The wheels are made of a special material that absorbs road bumps and shocks. It also comes with an elevated seat that is 53cm high, to keep your child off the ground and avoid contact with allergens, dirt and other substances. The Combi stroller also comes with a parent cupholder and a large storage basket.

The Cosmo scored well in the manoeuvrability and stability tests however, it was not able to compete in head-tohead competitions with top performers such as the Cougar 2. In the test for sideways tipping it was able to hold its own with 33 degrees, but was not close enough to the top scores in this test. The front-lock swivel wheels as well as suspension contribute to its good score in this test. The brake pedal is single wheel stroller-step and locks the rear wheels. This is beneficial for tight spaces, and enhances the ability to maneuver. Available in a variety of colors, you can buy it from most department stores, chain baby stores, and even at independent shops.

Design

The initial look of this stroller is okay and its unique fold is intriguing but that's where the good points end. In tests it did not perform better than its rivals and offered nothing spectacular in its place. It can only fit one car seat, which means it's not the best choice for twins. The padding is not sufficient to ensure a comfortable ride. It's heavy, awkward and difficult to navigate. While it does have storage, it's small and hard to access.

The frame of the Combi Twin Cosmo has many parts and connection points which makes it appear less costly than its competitors, who have frames with less pieces that are welded, instead of riveted. The backs of the seats aren't flat against the frame when collapsed. It has a good capacity for weight and is simpler to load into trunks than others. However, the size can cause issues with public transport since it doesn't fit on any 2'X4" rules that are applicable.

The Combi Twin Cosmo scored well in our tests of maneuverability despite its size and weight. It took 25 pounds to tip the Combi Twin Cosmo in the opposite direction, which is better than the majority of competitors. However, it isn't the best single buggy performer in this metric which is the Chariot Cougar 2

The rear wheels with wide tires can be locked to improve maneuverability. The brake pedal that locks and unlocks the rear wheels simultaneously, which is great for parking in tight spaces. Storage space is offered by a cup holder and a large basket, but it is not as much than other products.

There's small storage space located on the rear of the canopy, but it's too low to be useful for larger items such as diaper bags or groceries. There are two cup holders but they're too close to be practical to share drinks. The canopy offers decent sun protection by using a three panels of sunshade, which block over 100 percent of UV rays.

Comfort

One of the most important features of strollers is the ability to sit children in a comfortable place. This stroller features an adjustable seat that has an expansive canopy that extends to the back of the seat. There is also a parent cup holder and extra storage in the canopy. The stroller also comes with a telescoping handlebar to facilitate maneuvering and can be parked easily in narrow spaces.

This stroller scored highly in our quality metric however it didn't stand out in any of the other categories. It has the most flexible frame when it was being pushed. Its connection points are constructed of plastic, not being a soft product like other strollers. There was a lot of movement in the wheels and this might make it hard to use on uneven surfaces.

It's maneuverable, however this is offset by its weight and size. It took more force to push it, and this might be a challenge for parents with smaller children to perform regularly. It is able to easily navigate narrow doors and aisles, however, it might be difficult to fit in an elevator that is full of people.

The storage area under the seat was not ideal for the test participants. It was hard to access and there's an opening in the middle of the space that prevents larger items from being able to fit. Even an ordinary size purse may not fit in this space. A diaper bag that contained two children's items did not fit. The additional pockets inside the canopy are a nice touch but they're not enough to compensate for this poor under seat storage space.

The unique fold and carry strap makes it an ideal choice for transporting to and from public transportation but the size of the stroller will make it harder to squeeze into crowded buses and trains without causing injury to innocent pedestrians. This stroller is suited for commuters who can easily transport it in their cars. It is lightweight enough to be carried and down escalators, however it would need to be collapsed should you want to take it on a bus or train.

Safety

The Combi Fold N Go Stroller is compact and lightweight and comes with a variety of features. It features an adjustable seat for your baby and plush pads for the harness to ensure their safety and comfort, as well as a huge canopy that blocks the sun and additional storage. The dual front wheel suspension, lockable front wheels and large canopy ensure smooth riding and allow airflow into and out of the seat. A cup holder for parents and a large basket offer additional storage for essentials, and the stroller's handlebar is height-adjustable to suit your personal preference.

This stroller earned a excellent rating in our tests of ease of use. The CR testers were impressed by the ease of folding in just three steps. It is light and narrow enough to fit into doors, and features a brake lock that is simple to use. The leg openings of the stroller are also narrow to stop children from sliding through, and it's easy to navigate. All of these elements are crucial when choosing a stroller. However, it is equally important that your child is secured in the car seat. You should select the stroller that is able to be folded and unfolded easily while parked and secured with a car seat attached.

Always remember to fasten the child's safety harness and close the opening between the seat back and the grab bar once the stroller is in its reclined position. This will prevent your toddler from getting out of the seat and becoming a potential strangulation or fall risk. Also, ensure that you keep purses or diaper bags away from the handles of your stroller to avoid entanglement and reduce the risk of falling over. Also, it is essential to register your new stroller with the manufacturer, to be informed of any recalls.

A combi single stroller is a great choice for parents who plan to travel or do around with their toddler and infant. It can be folded up and stored in your trunk or in a closet, until you need it again. It can be carried by hand for easy transport when you have to travel from point A to point B quickly.
