It can be difficult to keep your home free of pet hair and dander if you have pets. Fortunately robot vacuums are adept at handling it--including the pet hair layers which can be found in carpet and rug.

The Dyson V15 Detect is the latest model in the brand's popular cordless stick lineup. Although it appears like its predecessors on the outside, this model packs several significant improvements. It is most notable for having a stronger motor that produces an air watt of 230 - which is 24 percent more suction power than the predecessors. It is also able to detect and measure the size of dust particles it collects. This information is displayed on its LCD display.

This feature is especially beneficial for pet owners as it shows that your floors are clean. The V15 Detect is also the first Dyson model with a brand new feature that is being rolled out across all models that includes a laser beam fluffy roller attachment. This attachment uses lasers of class 1 (so it's safe for both pets and humans) mounted on its hard floor motorised head that focuses on the smallest dust particles on the floor which makes it easier to determine the things you've missed during your cleaning session.

In our tests the V15 Detect performed excellent job of cleaning pet hair off of carpets with low and bare piles. It even managed to clear quite a bit of debris from carpets with high piles but we suggest that the suction gate on its multi-surface floorhead is kept partially open. It has a larger dustbin and is lighter and stronger than the Miele Classic C1. It also has fewer maintenance parts and charges more quickly.

When cleaning for a long time, the trigger operation may be too much for certain users. Some users may be put off by the smaller size of the bin (less than a Liter). It's also difficult to move on carpeted floors.

2. Tineco PURE ONE S11

The Tineco PURE ONE is an affordable cordless vacuum with a unique feature it has it has a built-in dirt sensor which automatically adjusts suction power as move the vacuum across the floor. This makes it easier to maneuver the stick vacuum and ensures constant results in clearing debris. During our testing, the S11 excelled at picking up pet hair on floors as well as low- to high-pile carpet. It also took away the sand from carpets with medium piles as well as many smaller debris. The S11 is simple to store. The S11 has an upright stand that can hold the cordless vacuum upright. It also has a clip-on rack for two attachments and a rechargeable power source that turns the machine into a handheld vacuum.

Contrary to other stick vacuums we evaluated, the PURE One S11 comes with an info display that displays the battery's life in real-time and attach status. The S11's iLoop sensors show the vacuum's status in terms of cleaning, such as whether it's picking up dirt or if there's been an obstruction.

The companion app for the S11 lets you track battery life, change suction settings and check the replacement and maintenance intervals for its HEPA filter, pre-filter and dustbin. The interface of the app is easy and responsive, without delay. The S11 has a similar design similar to the Samsung Jet 90 Complete. It does however have an adjustable rod that enables the vacuum to be adjusted to suit the needs of different users. It also has an attachment for turbobrush that is better at removing pet hair from upholstery. It is less expensive to run, and a longer runtime by a single battery charge.

This model is a little noisier than the other models on this list however. It emits a high-pitched sound that is similar to the sound of a drill used by dentists and can be a bit irritating for certain users. It also draws about 1160 Watts, which is quite a bit for a canister vacuum.

The Eureka Mighty Mite is a great choice for anyone who is looking for a portable flexible, efficient, and versatile automated pet hair vacuum. It is equipped with a long-lasting rechargeable battery and an allergen trapping HEPA-filter.

PC Mag praised the cordless vacuum's powerful suction and 40-minute run time, and the basic accessory kit that costs less than $140. Its brushless motor design reaches 110,000 RPM for more power and less friction which allows it to operate more efficiently and use less battery life in the process. 5. Neato D9

Neato has been among the leading innovators in floor care robots for close to 20 years. Their D-shaped robots, like the D8, have flat fronts that allow them to be more comfortable with walls than circular robots which makes them a great option for cleaning corners.

LaserSmart powered by LIDAR is the same technology that self emptying robot vacuum pet hair-driving cars employ to map your home. They then navigate the area precisely, leaving the pleasing straight lines of vacuum on your carpet. The app is user-friendly and gives you the option of scheduling cleaning sessions, create No-Go zones to keep away from areas that need more attention like pet bowls or toys for children, and choose from a range of cleaning modes.

The D9 has an industry-leading 0.7 Liter dirt bin. This means it needs less frequent emptying than smaller robots. It also comes with a turbo mode with 40 percent more suction than the D8 and a high-performance filter that captures 99.5 percent of allergens and dust particles that are fine. The D9 can also recharge itself automatically and resume where it left off if its battery runs low during a cleaning.

Neato's D9 is built well and comes with a premium black brushed finish that will look great with any decor. It comes with a green light for the battery along with a white Wi-Fi button, as well as a large start/stop clean button at the top. It connects your home Wi-Fi through an inbuilt wireless router and integrates Alexa and Google Assistant. It's a straightforward setup procedure, and I had no issues connecting it to my Wi-Fi network and getting the app to recognize it. The D9 was able to work for 171 minutes in eco mode during my test clean, which is about 3 times longer than other robots I've tried. It was unable to climb up furniture bases and ledges, and took an extended time to locate its base after recharging.
