The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

A robot vacuum/mop combination is the best solution for pets that shed fur. This machine can mop, vacuum and clean its own dual mop pad.

It also has the highest suction power of any TCL Robot Vacuum Cleaner - Wi-Fi Enabled Ultra Slim we have tested, with 8000Pa. It can also set up cleaning schedules and save maps of your home from its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is the latest in Ecovacs range of robot vacuum-mop hybrids. This model that is wet-dry is fitted with Ecovacs' upgraded AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that provides improved mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system uses dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to that found in self-driving vehicles. It can scan up to 32 feet across by the 270-degree angle. This translates to more accurate mapping and faster response times and higher cleaning accuracy.

In my testing the X2 Omni took just over one minute to clean its pad and begin work. I also noticed that it was more precise than previous models that seemed to follow a gridded route around rooms. It was capable of navigating my room's with its corners and edges and also create a "Zambani pattern" that ran up and down the center of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station frequently to empty the dust bin and clean the mop with hot water before beginning another cleaning task.

The X2 Omni is as simple to use and set up as the other Ecovacs products. Snap the dock into position then plug it in and connect it to your WiFi network at home. It only takes some minutes. You can then open the app to start your first cleaning project. I was able to dig into the settings and customize my floor plan in less than 15 minutes, which included creating restricted areas for sweeping and mopping and reworking my furniture layouts, and much more. The X2 Omni was astonished during my tests, scoring outstanding scores in debris removal and Pet hair vacuum with Powerful suction hair cleaning, as well as near-perfect results for crevice and edge cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The EcoVACS T10 Omni is an extremely powerful mopping and vacuum machine. It is the most advanced of the T-line from the company and comes with the new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system, which utilizes a dual-spinning brush for superior cleaning than conventional scrubbers. It also comes with YIKO integrated, a first-of-its kind natural language processing tech that allows it to respond to a variety of voice commands. The ECOVACS App lets you design your home, create cleaning schedules and adjust settings.

The biggest issue with the T10 Omni is that it cannot switch between vacuuming and mopping in one run. The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off in accordance with your needs. This is great for the majority of households, but not so for those who lead busy lives.

However, the Deebot T10 Omni is a superb robot vacuum and delivers impressive results in our pet hair tests. It vacuumed up more than 96% of the dust we tossed at it our hardwood floors and floors, which is a remarkable performance. It also did a fantastic job on tile and carpet and tile, getting rid of more than 99% of dirt and other debris.

This robotic vacuum and mop has a large docking station that offers cool water cleaning for its mop pads, automatic emptying into a 3L plastic bag that's simple to replace, and hot air drying for quick and easy maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that allows more frequent rinses and dry between mopping runs.

As with other mopping robots like the Deebot T10 Omni, it features a wash tray in its base that rinses and dries its mop pads as it utilizes them. It doesn't have a tray that can be removed, which means that dust, dirt and other grime will slowly build up on the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While Anker-owned Eufy is well-known in the field of robot vacuums, this model is its first foray into the world of mopping. It is equipped with enhanced intelligence and support for multiple maps, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that adjusts automatically to the floor you're cleaning. It's a mid-range robotic cleaner that's appealing even if its claim of being a one-stop-shop for floor cleaning doesn't quite come true.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a regular robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular shape with sweeping wheels and a raised space for sensors. However, flip it over, and you'll find an electric floor brush as well as a single side sweeper brush that carries dirt from the edges of the machine into the main path of the robot's mouth. It's a little smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9, which I discovered makes it easier to fit under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system lets you define no-mop areas as well as specific cleaning zones. However, it has a tendency to bump into things (including its charging dock) and isn't always adept in climbing over carpets. It did a good job of removing pet hair on bare floors However, during our tests, it was able to pick up 89.5 percent of litter - a figure that puts it ahead of all but the strongest robots we've tested.

Although it's controlled through the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base, which allow you to choose the cleaning mode and switch the robot off or on. You can also use these to set no-go zones as well as see real-time maps. It's a bit chatty too, and will let you know what it's planning to do next ("start cleaning") or even warn you that something is wrong (it isn't able to charge, for instance).

4. ILIFE A4s

This model is high-tech and sucks up pet hair, kibble, and other particles with top-quality performance and is able to effortlessly maneuver around furniture legs. It has a feature set that is impressive, which includes two cleaning modes as well as an automatic docking station and real-time obstacle avoidance technology. It's Wi-Fi-connected and best controlled using the Neato app, where cleanings can be scheduled and the overall maintenance needs be monitored. The X2 Omni is an excellent option for homes with a large a mix of hard floors and carpet, but it requires some advance planning to avoid getting stuck by electrical cords, toys, or other obstacles that might be unexpected.

The robot performed well in our tests of hardwood floors and food particles. It ate everything from a single rice grain to a variety of dog food pieces, with only one swipe. It had some difficulties transitioning to rugs however, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large spaces with flooring of all kinds and a mix of pets.

It is a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, it's a great purchase for those who wish to leave their home completely free to perform other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro also offers a handy auto cleaning mode that increases suction power to deal with tough spills and dirt and comes with a battery-powered ElectroWall which allows you to define boundaries where the robot isn't allowed to be allowed to enter.

This budget-friendly option from a well-known upstart brand is the most affordable robot we've ever tested and provides an outstanding value for cost. Its navigation system is basic and uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, making it less efficient than other models on this list. It's still able to navigate under furniture and into the corners. Its mopping mode performed well in our tests by picking up hairs and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ isn't quite as well-built as the Roomba S9, but it does a better job overall in cleaning up pet hair on all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning low-pile carpet and bare floors. It also makes use of intelligent-pathing navigational software to improve maneuverability. It can be positioned to a particular area and has a suite of advanced automation options, including no-go zones and schedules. It lets you suspend and resume cleaning sessions which is ideal for homes with pets.

Its self cleaning brushroll prevents tangles and can hold up to 30 day's worth of dirt. It also comes with an array of angled side brushes that penetrate into corners and its multi-stage filtration system can capture dust, dander and allergens for a cleaner air.

This vacuum feels solid and well-constructed, and it has a smartphone app that enables you to change the settings for your vacuum mop for pet hair and plan cleaning sessions in advance. The app lets you view the remaining battery life of the iQ, and send push notifications in the event of any issues during the cleaning session. You can utilize your voice to control it with an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device or, if you don't have either of those, you can mark off zones with physical boundary strips.

The iQ does a decent job of removing bare floors and doing a fair job on low-pile and shaggy carpet however, it doesn't have the same level of autonomy as our top choices. It's also expensive and the cost of recurring use can increase.shark-ai-robot-vacuum-smart-mapping-scheduling-pet-hair-pick-up-logical-navigation-black-silver-rv2001-carpet-572.jpg
